Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Beijing 2022 Special Edition

This 42 mm Special Edition watch is crafted from stainless steel and includes a grade 5 titanium bezel ring with a diving scale in positive relief. On the blue ceramic [ZrO2] dial, you’ll find laser-engraved waves along with rhodium-plated indexes and hands filled with Super-LumiNova. As a special tribute to Beijing 2022, there are also five special minute-markers at 2H, 4H, 8H, 10H and 12H, with each one created in the five colors of the Olympic Rings.

On the reverse side of the watch, the polished and brushed caseback includes a stamped Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 logo. Omega’s patented NAIAD lock system keeps all the engravings in perfect alignment, while behind the caseback sits the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8800.

Inside the white special presentation box, each timepiece is set on a polished and brushed stainless steel bracelet including the swiss watchmaker’s patented extendable foldover rack- and-pusher with an extra diver extension.

Czapek Antarctique Passage de Drake Glacier

This timepiece, which also has a salmon version, features the swiss brand’s “Stairway to Eternity” registered pattern, an atypical trapezoid motif whose three-dimensional stamped surface creates a play of shadows across the dial. While the salmon color is created by “galvanoplastie,” galvanic treatment, the Glacier Blue hue could only be produced with a PVD (physical vapor deposition) treatment. In both cases, Czapek collaborated with its Swiss-based longtime partner Metalem.

It is powered by the 30mm SXH5 automatic caliber, the brand’s first in-house movement. Its powerful microrotor, made of fully recycled platinum 950, is placed off-center to allow a plunging view into the mechanism.

The gear train is held in place by a series of seven skeletonized bridges whose shape is inspired by both the XIX century pocket watches, and by the very modern Czapek Faubourg de Cracovie chronograph’s rotor. The movement has superlative finishing on the bridges merging Haute Horlogerie angling techniques with laser engravings.

H. Moser & Cie Endeavour Perpetual Calendar Funky Blue

This year, H. Moser & Cie. is launching an updated version of a timepiece they introduced in 2015. The new watch now measures 42 mm and features the brand’s logo in transparent lacquer. To mark this event, the Swiss watchmaker is creating a very special commemorative limited edition which showcases the technical characteristics of the Endeavour Perpetual Calendar.

It is known for its complex movement but ease of use. No hard-to-read sub-dial or date disc: the indices display not only the hours, but also the months, using a small hand in the center.

For this special series, the timepiece goes the opposite direction to the minimalist philosophy habitually cultivated by H. Moser & Cie., which the pared-down dial and intuitive functions of the perpetual calendar illustrate. In a creative undertaking demonstrating the offbeat humor of H. Moser & Cie., the dial of the Endeavour Perpetual Calendar has been scrawled with notes and drawings which encapsulate the features of this movement, like the mnemonic tricks used by the class dunce.
