Prada’s Reveal Skin Optimizing Foundation is designed to enhance the skin’s aesthetic when it comes to tone, luminosity, and texture. The brand described the foundation as breathable, with its soft matte finish lasting up to a 24-hour wear.
Its buildable, medium coverage contains the IRL (In Real Life) Micro-FilterTM technology. “This technology consists of a molecule that micro-crystalizes on the skin [and] it is transfer resistant,” Prada said on its website.
The foundation has vitamin E, niacinamide, and lactobacillus extract complex. These provide significant restorative benefits to the skin’s natural beauty and improves its texture. It also includes sun protection as it has a broad spectrum SPF 17 in its formula.

Laura Mercier’s tinted blush and setting powder
French brand Laura Mercier is known for its strong, enduring base products. However, in the brand’s reintroduction event, Canvas and Color, held at Ascott Makati, its brand manager Christine Felix took the lead in emphasizing the brand’s other color products.
One of the many products they featured is the brand’s Tinted Moisturizer Blush. It is sheer, easy to apply, and its buildable formulation makes it double as an all-purpose tint.
“This is a game changer for me,” the brand manager said. “I use it all over [my] lips, cheeks, everywhere, even as a bronzer sometimes.”
Felix emphasized its nourishing fruit elements like raspberry seed oil and mango butter. These ingredients help the product lock in 24 hours of instant softening hydration.
Meanwhile, their Translucent Loose Setting Powder consists of amino acids and silica powders. These elements blur pores, fine lines, and other blemishes.
The event introduced other lightweight yet long-lasting skincare makeup like their lip color infused with guava oil and lip glaze with primrose oil.

The brand revealed they conducted a consumer study with 20 subjects after using the product for 28 days. 100 percent of them agreed it improved the quality of bare skin, and effectively concealed under-eye circles, blemishes, and minimized the appearance of fine lines. Their website also showed five-star reviews, all of which testified that the product is, indeed, of sublime standards.
