Diving Into The Most Popular Fashion Trends Of 2023

From quiet luxury to balletcore, this year’s trends are sure to have range. “Over the last twelve months, the trend cycle blazed through moods and moments, with fashion driving some of the year’s biggest cultural talking points,” Lyst’s Year in Fashion 2023 report stated.

“While some shoppers boldly embraced fashion’s fearless, fantasy spirit, others sought more low-key looks, increasingly leaning towards quality and timelessness as the new vectors for value.”

Meanwhile, Loewe’s Anagram logo was the most-wanted luxury motif in Lyst’s report this year. The brand’s powerful symbol has resonated with shoppers worldwide. Loewe’s Anagram can be found everywhere, from handbags and belts to tank tops and jeans.

The Trend

From mini skirts in 2022, this year has given way to the rise of the hot pant. “The underwear-as-outerwear trend has been seen on the SS24 runways at Tom Ford, Khaite, Chloé, Stella McCartney, Gcds, and Coach,” the report said.

The Footwear

2023 was the year of the naked shoe. Brands such as Alaïa, Loewe, The Row, Khaite, Bottega Veneta, Nensi Dojaka, Chanel, and Stella McCartney have all embraced sheer footwear.
